Bought tickets through vivid and received them just fine with no issues. The concert was then rescheduled due to weather. Ticketmaster and the show organizers both said they would issue refunds if you want them. I tried to get a refund because some of our party couldn't make it. The only reason I couldn't get one was because vivid seats refused my request. The app works fine but if anything goes wrong with your tickets, I think you'd be better off dealing with Ticketmaster directly.
The inability to contact customer service for anything demonstrates their lack of concern for customers. I tried sending an email to their "support" department only to get an automated response telling me "The mailbox you have mailed is not monitored". Then at their "contact us" link there is no option to submit an inquiry. I was offered a 20% discount on tickets I was purchasing, and it said the "discount" would be calculated at checkout. Surprise, at checkout I was charged the full amount.
The problem isn't so much the app itself, as I've only just downloaded it and don't intend to ever use it. The issue is the fact that I need it at all, and the extremely deceptive sales tactics. I bought a ticket through Vivid for mobile delivery. Fine so far. Once purchased I find out I have to install the app to get the tickets. Then I find out that just passes me to Ticketmaster and I have to install their app. Which then took half a dozen attempts to actually deliver them without error.
Vivid engages in VERY deceptive business practices. Thought I was buying tickets for a game, but it turns out I am committing to buy a ticket that a reseller may or may not deliver the day of the event (noon delivery for a game that starts at 6PM). They make it completely seem like you are buying a ticket until after you pay. And there is no cancelation, even 1 minute after realizing their scam. Can't even resell ticket since I don't know if I will have it until 6 hours before event. Use StubHub
Getting tickets is fine. However when I tried to remove payment method it gives instructions that are incorrect as there is no such option in profile like it claims. Then impossible to reach anyone. when you select Contact Us it only gives a Q & A obviously doesn't want to actually provide support. No email or chat option. Finally found email address on their x profile but when I email i get auto response basically saying no one checks the emails and gives link to app and same worthless q &a.
