Like many my account has been restricted for no reason and there is no real way to fix it. That being said the app was an easy 5 stars before the restriction. Then even now all restriction means is I can't post, comment, or message. I wasn't super active to begin. with and mostly just enjoyed the content. Which I can still enjoy even while restricted. So I guess for now I will just continue to view.
Without any specific explanation, my account was suddenly flagged as a "violating account." Although, in my view, I had done nothing wrong, my account was unjustifiably frozen; furthermore, the options provided for unblocking the account felt deeply intrusive. As mine is a new account, this situation poses no major issue for me; however, if you happen to have a large number of notes stored on the platform, you stand to lose them all—permanently and irretrievably.
Extremely healthy environment for social platform, which is very refreshing to see. Even though I don't speak Mandarin, it's a relatively easy UI. Only thing I would say, is that it would be beneficial to have more translation to English (and other languages) for captions and such, but I fully understand this has primarily been for Chinese users. I'm looking forward to exploring the app and it's features more!
A very friendly and supportive platform. I don't speak Mandarin but I was able to figure out how to set up my account with ease. It is easy to navigate. I love the communications across the world with everyone. it's so amazing to make friends, lasting bonds, cultural understanding, and learn about people not only in China or the US, but around the world. The atmosphere is very welcoming. within minutes my algorithm had my fyp figured out. I'm finding so much content and learning so much!
It gives a direct connection to people I like, along with a good way to find people once you get started. Though getting started is difficult, and it's difficult to start getting channels tailored to your desires, but it's possible. Also idk why but currently I'm blocked from sending messages, and my ID number doesn't work. The ID is legit, please help.
