It was fine before the podcast update, the full-screen ads give me a migraine. I try to pause and then an ad instantly pops up and suddenly I'm in the browser app. I'll take fewer ads over podcasts anyday, there's already dozens of other apps for podcasts. Uninstalling as soon as I find a replacement for radio. Edit: I can see there's an ad free version. I would consider purchasing if it were a one-time fee, but I'm not looking to get another subscription that I'll forget to cancel.

The ads are too many, but I understand because it is free radio. I listen at night and set the SLEEP TIMER. NOW the sleep timer has an ad! I would even watch the ad, BUT it won't load onto my tablet, so the radio plays all night long. EXTREMELY bad for a good night's rest. unfortunately I'm going to find another station. It's too bad because I have loved this ap for years.

I have a premium account and yet I get ads that repeat so much it makes me crazy. I can tune into the same station from other free versions of other radio apps and they will not be broadcasting the ad. I have also checked this with live broadcasts against the app and some of the ads on here are never on the actual station.. It is nice to get station's from my old city that I no longer live in, but I am not sure it worth the premium price when the ads are still being played.

The first few days using the app was good, there's a lot of great content available from around the world. Then the ads and pop-ups started increasing in frequency. Had a notification pop up while I wasn't even running it asking "Hey, have you missed me?" Today I started seeing full page ads blocking the interface with no way to clear them, just an "open" button for whatever the link went to. Nope. I un-installed this app after seeing that. Not worth the hassle.

This used to be one of the best apps for listening to radio stations, and I have been using it for many years. I never had an issue with advertisements when opening the app or changing channels, as that is understandable for a free service. Something has recently changed, and the app experience has significantly deteriorated. Two days ago, while I was on a phone call, the app unexpectedly started playing an advertisement on its own, forcing me to end the call. Then again, So Goodbye App.
