Ads have become too intrusive. The first few weeks I played were great. The game is incredibly simple and a decent time killer. Ads were there but usually optional. Eventually, just even opening a menu would bring up an ad. I can't tell if this was because I had progressed far enough and the developer thinks I'll give into the sunk cost fallacy and just put up with the ads, or if this was part of a recent update. Either way, I'm displeased.
What happened. Used to love this game played it all the time. Now there are ads everywhere. And to get rid of the ads cost a subscription. Feels just greedy to me. You want to look at the upgrades for your shops, watch an ad. Want to hire a manager, watch an ad. Want to go to the moon section yeah watch an ad. Dont get me wrong the game is fun but ads have killed it for me. Buy it on steam for pc its better on there.
uninstalling. this game used to be so good. i installed it looking forward to playing it again years later. it's sad to see it become nothing more than an easy money grab game. 15 dollars a month for free ads? nope. i'd rather buy an actual game than pay for this. edit: so i have to watch an ad to avoid an ad is what you are saying? i'm not spending 15 dollars a month on an idle game over ads. i get needing compensation for making a game, but you don't need 15 dollars a month for an idle game.
The game was fun for a few days but now I'm getting ads for just opening the upgrade menu. I understand the whole automated response "ads help us keep the game free!" thing but this is ridiculous. There's a reason that all of the recent reviews mention this but the devs are too greedy to actually care. $15 a month for ad free is beyond stupid. You'd be better off just setting the money on fire than wasting it on these people
this game is a "number go up" ad generator. the game forces you to click on advertisement bonuses to increase your score. and while that sucks, the game is just about addictive enough to make it worth your time. however, after having the game for about a week it started having forced ads that weren't opted into. they would start without selecting any bonuses. after multiple times it gave me a prompt saying that making a purchase would stop it. this was a bridge too far for me.
