Pricing

Solitaire by MobilityWare is free to download, which makes it accessible to everyone. The ads are terrible, you are forced to play offline or it's basically unusable. When you try to skip or close the app during an ad they open a link. The game is good, works nicely, and the background options are a nice touch but the ads are so so so bad. To be clear, I'm not upset that they have ads, but the invasive block you from even existing the app ads are ridiculous. If you go offline the ads are perfectly reasonable.

It's a poorly optimised app, it has a huge cache build up which can slow it down over time. It's nearly 1 GB of install data on the device, for a game that should barely clear 100mb. The ads are difficult to skip, constantly opening other apps and some are inappropriate for younger users (adult AI chatbots etc). The app can be fun, the events and levels etc. But it's difficult to live with the lack of optimisation and excess of ads.

I love playing solitaire but the only thing I dont like about this game is that everytime my deck runs out and I have to go back to the first card it takes all my points away and I always have a lower score. And I also don't like how there's so many adds and I always have to deal with some annoying game that wants me to play. Overall, I do think this game needs some improvement but the things I do like about it are the background features and the cards.

I've had this game for years and I don't know if this is a recent bug or what, but for whatever reason all of a sudden I'm forced to watch these several minute long unskipable ads or forced to play a "sample" of an advertised game that I also cannot skip or get back to solitaire at all and keep getting sent to the play store to download these other games. I have to completely close out of solitaire and open it back up. It's making the game unplayable and I'm ready to uninstall it.

The game was wonderful until the devs made some changes, like adding ads and a subscription svc! The ads are more than just banner ads. There are also full video ads. I don't like the idea of "subscribing" to get rid of ads. I would be down to pay a flat fee to get rid of ads but not subscribe. The ads and the fee scale might not be a bother to some, but it is a definite turn-off to me. Unfortunately, I will no longer play this version of solitare. Still a great game tho. It's been real! ✌🏽
